Jean Pierre Porcher, photographer, was born in 1956. He lives and works in Paris.

Formally trained as an architect and city planner, he has worked for 20 years as a project manager
on large architectural projects and development plans.

In 2000, Jean Pierre Porcher decided to devote himself entirely to photography.
The evolution of his photographic work since 2004 has driven his pictorial and aesthetic research.
His philosophy and training in traditional martial arts permits him to experiment with equilibrium
and disequilibrium, movement, fluidity and density, in the search for the mastery of movement
and perspective. His photographic work, with this particular attention paid to movement,
allows us to enter into a poetic universe where reality and abstraction meet.
